The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology commissioned ADEC to deliver the complete life support infrastructure for their coral restoration facility — a pioneering project for Red Sea reef conservation. ADEC received an industry award for this installation in 2024.

Qatar's first oceanic aquarium, a flagship attraction of the revitalised Mina District at the Old Doha Port. Across 17 themed tanks holding nearly 6,000 m³ of water, ADEC engineered the complete life support infrastructure — mechanical and biological filtration, protein skimming, UV disinfection and circulation — built for marine-corrosion resistance.

Turnkey LSS — Vietnam's largest aquarium

Vietnam's largest aquarium and one of the five largest in the world, on Phu Quoc Island, with over 20 million litres of salt and freshwater. ADEC delivered the complete turnkey life support — including 14 world-record MS-1000 protein skimmers and 70+ compact filter systems — across 66 exhibits and an 80 m walkthrough tunnel.

For its 20th anniversary renovation, this alpine thermal spa in Salzburg added a one-of-a-kind swim-through aquarium — guests swim alongside a living marine exhibit and beneath an 8 m acrylic tunnel. ADEC delivered acrylic supply and installation, LSS, underwater theming and waterproofing, plus aquatic animal supply and operational training.

A giant modern aquarium in the Bintaro district of South Jakarta. ADEC delivered the life support engineering and acrylic behind 37 themed exhibits, a 35 m walkthrough tunnel and a flagship 9.33 × 6.34 m viewing panel — covering LSS design, acrylic supply and installation, and full operational training for the in-house team.

ADEC is modernising the public aquariums at the German Oceanographic Museum — the most visited museum in North Germany — to be more resilient and sustainable without distorting the historic structure. The scope covers acrylic installation and prefabricated tank design, manufacturing and installation across 9 exhibits and 886 m³ of water.

Inside the 21-hectare Magic City complex in Tashkent, this 2,762 m² aquarium leads visitors through 50 themed exhibits — a steampunk submarine passage, a sunken-shipwreck ocean tank and a jungle column — holding 1,303 m³ of water. ADEC delivered the project end to end: design, concrete waterproofing, acrylic, underwater & dry-side theming and full LSS.

A 12,000 m² family-entertainment destination in the Anzali Free Zone, northern Iran, combining a major aquarium with terrariums, crocodile ponds and a tropical bird aviary. ADEC delivered the aquarium across 41 concept exhibits — a 40 m walkthrough tunnel and a 14 × 3 m acrylic panel — holding 1.9 million litres of water.

Home to the longest tunnel aquarium in Istanbul. Its themed exhibits, touch pools and immersive ambiance draw visitors from all over the world. ADEC delivered the aquarium across 49 concept exhibits — an 88 m walkthrough tunnel and an 18.3 × 2.8 m acrylic panel — holding 3.7 million litres within a 6,000 m² closed area.

An important example of the impact of shopping-mall and attraction partnerships, bringing an immersive marine destination into a retail environment in İzmir. ADEC designed, built and now operates the aquarium — 56 concept exhibits, a 21 m tunnel and 1.3 million litres of water within a 3,000 m² closed area.

Set beneath the historic walls of Trabzon Castle on the Black Sea coast, this landmark marine attraction blends dramatic exterior theming with a story-driven underwater journey. ADEC delivered the aquarium across 50 concept exhibits — a 21 m walkthrough tunnel and a 7.8 × 2 m acrylic panel — holding 850,000 litres of water across a 3,500 m² destination.

Opened in 2016 inside Najvan National Park, Isfahan Aquarium is one of Iran's most-visited family destinations, drawing around 4 million visitors a year. ADEC delivered the aquarium across 34 concept exhibits — a 29 m walkthrough tunnel and a 7 × 2 m acrylic panel — holding 3.7 million litres of water within a 3,200 m² closed area.

The public aquarium at the Presidential Avaza Congress Center in Türkmenbaşy, opened in July 2015. Its centrepiece is the world's largest monoblock acrylic-plated ground aquarium — a 32 m long walk-over glass floor — set beneath a soaring golden hall, with an accompanying 6 m tall wall aquarium. ADEC delivered the design, monoblock acrylic and life support systems.
