Avaza Congress Center

Built for the Presidential Avaza Congress Center in Türkmenbaşy, Turkmenistan, this landmark public aquarium broke ground in June 2014 and opened in July 2015. Its centrepiece is the world's largest monoblock acrylic-plated ground aquarium — a walk-over glass floor 32 metres long, 6 metres wide and 1.5 metres deep — set beneath a soaring golden hall and a suspended shoal of art-fish. A nearby 6-metre-tall wall aquarium completes the monumental composition, making the space a breathtaking marine experience for delegates and visitors alike.
